Job Title: Quality Engineer – Automotive Components (QA/QC)
Location: On-site – Satara / Pune
Job Type: Full-time
Salary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹33,000 per month (Or based on experience)
Shift: Day / Rotational
Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineers to join our team in ensuring high product quality standards in manufacturing processes for automotive electrical and mechanical components. This role demands hands-on quality assurance and control, process inspection, and continuous improvement initiatives as per ISO and IATF standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process inspection and final quality checks as per control plans.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 standards.
- Handle customer complaints and support internal/external audits.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Utilize measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation – FMEA, SPC, MSA, CAPA reports.
- Conduct daily line audits and support kaizen, 5S, and Poka-yoke initiatives.
- Collaborate with production teams to reduce rejections and improve product quality.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: BE in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 2–4 years in quality assurance/control in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in QA/QC tools and techniques.
- Exposure to calibration processes, audit procedures, and gauge management.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office; added advantage if trained in AutoCAD or Catia.

- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
- Good team coordination and communication abilities.
- Willingness to work on shop floors and rotating shifts.
- Ready to relocate to Satara or nearby location.
